BEST OF 2017

2017 was my busiest year to date.  I was lucky enough to travel to New York, Copenhagen, Reykjavik, Milan and finally Glasgow.  This year is already shaping up to be even bigger with weddings in Auckland Harbour, The Bay of Islands (New Zealand), Lake Como, Barcelona and Reykjavik again!

I wanted to celebrate my couples and moments from 2017 in this blog post.  I had so much fun capturing so many awesome weddings all over the country and meeting couples who I can call friends.

Enjoy my 2017 roundup and top 10 wedding moments 0f 2017!

NUMBER #10.  THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM //  I was waiting for the bridal party outside the hotel and caught the bride having a last minute glance out of the window.

NUMBER #9.  PING PONG //  This wedding was a special one as I worked with the groom Sam at Apple back in the day.  Their stunning wedding was on the same day as Hurricane Brian so we improvised and played table tennis while we waited for the rain to stop!

NUMBER #8.  DAB DAB DAB // Totally didn't see this coming! The groom and father of the bride high fived and dabbed instead of the traditional handing over of the bride.  Brilliant moment!

NUMBER #7.  STOP TRAFFIC //  The church wouldn't allow confetti thrown on the grounds so we literally stopped traffic for five minutes to capture this moment.  Worth it!

NUMBER #6.  PAPER ROCK SCISSORS //  Absolutely brilliant couple these two.  They settle everything with a game of paper rock scissors!  Still can't remember who won this one as well.

NUMBER #1.  COME AWAY WITH ME // I loved EVERYTHING about this wedding.  The bride was a kiwi which was super special, the whole wedding was DIY and the portraits are perfect!  No direction, nothing set up everything was completely documentary.  The best part is we are doing it all again in New Zealand in March.  Can't wait!
